Im just curious as to what kind of exercise you all do. I have been doing pilates for about 8 months. So I decided I wanted to try something different. Welllllllllll I started with a DVD for beginners of cardio kickboxing.
Let me tell you........... it is so much FUN!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I also found a site for Itrain, with some downloadable mp3 files for IBallet. It uses ballet movements and kickboxing moves to tone and strengthen the lower body. Also, like many of you, I have been under a TON of stress lately, things that I wont go into here, but lets just say more than work issues........... its nice to "kick" it away!!!!!!!!! So what do you all do????????? |

For immediate stress relief: 1. stress ball (try to squeeze that out!) - f ur hating a person, try to imagine, ur squezzing his head..lol 2. shoooout! - of course, do it on a private place...hahaha...u might be labeled as a public dsturbance.. 3. grab a pen and put it on a paper- after that, u tear it, crumple it and put it on a trash can! (i do this sometimes..hehehe) 4. cry in 5 minutes (let it all out) and wash ur face afterwards...try it! 5. get ur ipod and listen to any rock songs you have on ur playlists.. for a long term releif: 1. workout, enroll on a dance school, kick boxing (or any sports you r in to) 2. shopping (f u dont have money, window shopping is still okay) 3. hang out with friends, go yoga, spa or go bar hopping (in moderation of course, you cant do this everyday..lol) 4. watch a documentary movie about africa (u will realize that there are still people out der who got bigger problems than you do) 5. personalize ur OWN stress mgt...look, its still up to you on how you will manage ur probs..in a healthy way of course..make a goal, and most importantly, PRAY! feel good about urself.. |

Now you have no more excuses! Here are 10 great exercises that you can do at home, without the need for any equipment:
1:Walking – If the weather is nice, it’s wonderful to get outside and enjoy the scenery around you while you exercise. However, if the weather has other ideas, you can just as easily get an effective walking workout at home. If you have a flight of stairs, go up and down them a few times. (You could even grab a load of laundry as you’re going that way anyway!) This will help to tone up your legs, while getting some low impact aerobic exercise as well. If you don’t have any stairs available, just walk around the house a few times – it may not be very exciting, but it will do the job! 2:Jumping Jacks – These are always fun, as they bring back memories of being a kid! Who hasn’t done jumping jacks for fun as a child? Well, surprise – they are also great cardio exercises, and good for warming up, too. 3: Pushups – These are probably not the most favorite exercise of many people, but while they can be hard to do, you can find easier ways to do them. You don’t need to pretend you’re “Rocky”, and do them with one hand; just do what works for you. Do them on your knees, instead of keeping your legs straight. Or, do them standing up against a wall. You will be building up arm strength and working out muscles in your chest area. 4: Leg Lifts – These are great for building up strength and muscles in your legs. If you find it hard to do the exercises with your legs straight, try bending them slightly. 5: Crunches – The best exercise for building up and strengthening abdominal muscles. When you’re just getting started, don’t worry about getting your head all the way up. So long as you’re going up until you feel the stretching of the muscles, you will see some benefit. 6: Jogging In Place – Jogging is a great exercise for your heart. You can jog in place at home while watching TV or listening to music. The only equipment you will require is a good pair of shoes, to eliminate any stress to your legs. |

Thanks or sharing! Not everyone has the time or money to join a gym, so being able to do effective exercises at home is really good way. Good home exercises should target all the main muscle groups and put the full body through its paces. Walking is one of the best forms of exercise because it contributes so many benefits to the human body without risking injury or stressing it. The push up also known as press up is also really an excellent exercise for working the chest muscles and arms.
