Male Nurses in DR?

Is it practice in the Philippines that male nurses be assigned in the Delivery room? Post your comments and insights regarding this... thanks

I seen a baby born in just about every make and model of car known to man, even in the OR during clinical. However, every single one of these situations was not volunteered. If I have to assist, so be it, but that doesn't mean im not throwing up a little in my mouth. I can understand though, for them it may be a cultural norm.
