Talking Re: What subject in nursing you love the most?

I love Med-Surg nursing though 4 all of us its the toughest & most elusive subject that we have.

Knowledge bout this aspect of Nursing can measure our capability & our competency to work as a Nurse. To be honest guys i rarely use my Med-Surg book during my college days. I only used it everytime there's a completion of projects, class reporting & case presentations and then after that it rests on my table for a long time b4 i use it agen...hehe..i think risons are...first,MS books are too large to carry around with us & Second, is that every time we see 2 volumes @ usually 3 inches thick each, we are discouraged to read it...AGREE?hehe...Be honest....lols...

But i just realized that this aspect or Nursing plays a major role in our Nursing career....and also in passing Licensure exams here & abroad...

Now i can proudly say that i am reading it as often as i can...
Hope you'll start reading urs...Godbless

Thankz 4 this thread...

For me its gotta be Medical Surgical Nursing.. I really love the challenge (let's face it, it's a one hell of a subject).. actually i didn't like it at first, because of some reasons like (1) my instructor sucks! (2) i'm always too busy (3) im also not fond of reading those big, bulky, 1500 peso-book!!
i barely touched it in my 3rd year days, but in my fourth year, i asked myself,"Is my knowledge enough already?"...I've decided that if im gonna be a nurse i should be an effective, competent, and efficient one.. so i learned how to focus and seek as much motivations as i can, and there i found myself enjoying reading BRUNNER (not noticing it's 3am already).. now you can't even tell its a book coz i often slept on it hehe...
if you haven't started to review yet, i tell you, you should start ASAP..
you'll be amazed of what you could learn in a day,and most of all, you won't tell yourself in the future "I SHOULD HAVE READ THAT STUPID BOOK!"

Cardiogenic shock is failure of the heart to pump adequately results in reducing cardiac output and compromising tissue perfusion. The treatment is focused to maintain tissue oxygenation and perfusion and improve the pumping ability of the heart.

Signs and Symptoms:

Psychiatric subject is the best for me. I love to learn the behaviour and mental processes of my patients as well as the people around me. Helps a lot, even in daily situations.
